Shared hosting is cheap for a reason.
You are one account among hundreds on the same machine, getting whatever is left after everybody else takes theirs. It works until it does not. And the day it stops working is usually the day your campaign goes live.
A VPS is different. Your memory and storage are reserved, not borrowed, so a busy neighbor is not your problem. We size every capsule for the site it actually runs, leave room to grow, and never oversell the machine underneath.

An unpatched server becomes a liability within months. Updates applied blindly to a live site break things. So we patch on a schedule, test before anything goes live, and take a restore point every time. That is what managed is supposed to mean.

Taken daily and kept off the machine they protect, because a backup living on the server it is protecting is not a backup. We test restores rather than assuming they work.
SSL, DNS, and mail routing
Certificates issued and renewed automatically, DNS managed properly, and mail configured with the authentication records that keep your email out of spam folders.
Monitoring with a person attached
Uptime and resource alerts that reach us rather than emailing you at two in the morning about something you cannot fix from a phone.
Staging when you need it
A copy of the live site to test against, so an update is never tried out on the version your customers are looking at.
How we run it
Size it
We look at what the site actually does, the traffic it takes, and what it will need in two years. The capsule is provisioned for that rather than for a pricing tier.
Migrate it
Moved and tested on the capsule before anything points at it, so the switch is a DNS change rather than an outage. Almost always done outside business hours.
Harden it
Firewall, access rules, certificates, mail authentication, and backups all configured before the site goes live on it.
Maintain it
Patching on a schedule, monitoring in the background, and a restore point before every change. You hear from us when something needs a decision, not otherwise.

Questions about managed hosting
Do we have to host with you?
No, and we will tell you when you do not need to. Plenty of sites run perfectly well on good shared hosting, and if that is your situation we would rather say so than sell you a capsule. Where it matters is ecommerce, membership sites, anything with real traffic, and any business where an hour of downtime costs more than a year of hosting.
What happens if we leave?
You take everything. The capsule is provisioned in your name, cPanel access is yours throughout, and we hand over a full backup and the DNS records on the way out. Leaving should cost you nothing but a goodbye.
Why cPanel and WHM rather than a custom panel?
Because every developer and agency in the country already knows how to use it. A proprietary panel means the only people who can work on your server are us, which is convenient for us and bad for you.
How much RAM and storage do we get?
More than the site needs, and the specific figure comes from looking at your site rather than from a tier chart. We size it during setup and increase it when traffic genuinely calls for it.
What does managed actually mean here?
That we apply operating system and control panel updates, patch security issues as they are disclosed, take and test backups, watch resource use, and renew certificates. It does not mean we fix a plugin you installed without telling us, though we will quote for that separately.
How quickly do you patch a security issue?
Critical issues the same day they are disclosed, everything else on the regular schedule. We take a restore point first, because an untested patch on a live site is its own kind of outage.
