Difference one: nothing is outsourced. Ever.

Since 2013, not one project has been sent to a third party contractor, an offshore studio, or a white label partner. Every hour billed is worked by our own team in the United States.

Most agencies at our size do subcontract, and many are not straightforward about it. The pitch team is domestic and senior. The production team is somewhere else and much cheaper. The margin lives in that gap.

How to verify: ask for the name of the person doing your work and ask to speak with them directly before you sign. We will put them on the phone. Ask any agency the same question and watch what happens.

Difference two: you own it all, from day one

Every account is created in your name with your billing. Domain, hosting, analytics, code repository, design files. We get access as a collaborator, and when the project ends we remove ourselves. Copyright transfers in writing.

How to verify: ask what happens to your website and files if you fire us tomorrow. The answer should be that nothing happens, because everything already belongs to you.

Difference three: honesty before revenue

We regularly tell prospects they do not need what they called about. We have talked businesses out of rebrands, apps, and expensive redesigns when the actual problem was smaller and cheaper. Sometimes we recommend a competitor who is a better fit.

How to verify: ask us what you should not spend money on. An agency optimizing for the sale will struggle to answer. We will give you a list.

Difference four: fixed price, and we mean fixed

One number, agreed before work starts, with scope written down in detail. Change orders exist only when you request something outside that scope, and they get quoted and approved before any work happens.

How to verify: compare our proposal to any hourly estimate you have received. Ask what happens if the project takes longer than expected. With us it takes longer and costs the same.

Difference five: we stay small deliberately

We could grow faster. Hire quickly, subcontract the overflow, take everything that comes in. We have watched other agencies do exactly that and lose the thing clients hired them for in the first place.

So we run a limited number of projects at a time. That means we sometimes cannot start for two or three weeks, and it means the person you met is the person doing your work.
